IllicitEncounters, in the UK claims to have had over 1,000,000 users since 2004. That’s a lot of extra-marital affairs!

Ashley Madison, another online resource, states, “Life is short. Have an affair.”

Like any booming business, these sites have a great supply and demand equation.

Here are a few facts:

• Around 50,000 individuals with partners in the UK will start an affair this week.
• The month of January is historically the worst time for individuals to cheat on their partners with double the number of people in a relationship, 120,000, starting extra-marital affairs compared to the month of August.
• It’s estimated about half of us have already cheated or will cheat on our partner – around 60% of men and 40% of women will have an affair.
• Sex in Public:
  Men – 90% said yes / Women – 34% said yes
• Role-play:
  Men – 32% said yes / Women – 41% said yes
• Bondage:
  Men – 55% said yes / Women – 37% said yes
• Threesome:,
  Men – 65% said yes / Women – 24% said yes
• Phone sex is the number one sexual adventure people would like to try in 2020
