“One-penis policy” is a problem in threesomes
Most couples are looking for another woman, not another man.
The “one penis policy” in a sexual relationship is rooted in misogyny and homophobia. Because men feel threatened. Very sad. But very real.
Perhaps there was some deep-seated insecurity in Will Smith’s outrageous display of anger at the Oscars? Apparently, long before the infamous, infantile ‘stand up for my woman’ attack, Will and Jada had an “open” relationship. And yet, it’s possible that ‘open’ to Will means a “one penis policy.” We’ll never know, but all women should deal with this male-driven ego problem sooner versus later. It’s not an easy conversation to have with penis owners but if it’s not addressed, it can undermine any attempt at equity – and great sex – in a threesome.
“The one penis policy objectifies people and makes [them] disposable.” – Leanne Yau
In considering threesomes, far more male-female couples look for another woman to join them than a man. Is this just another form of inequity in a sexual relationship?
Today, more and more couples are considering ethical non-monogamy, open relationships and research indicates that as many as 20% of Americans have been in, or are interested in trying, some form of ethical (or “consensual”) non-monogamy — and those numbers are on the rise.
“There has been a 400% increase of searches for threesomes among women and 500% increase among men.”
If we are going to be “open” in our sexual relationships, then lets be completely open. This has to be equitable for women – they deserve to get what they want and need – and not just put up with the misogynistic insecurity of men who are afraid of a ‘two penis’ encounter. It’s so insecure. Get over it guys! Grow up, step up and move toward loving equality.

BTW, we earlier posted a fascinating excerpt about a consensual, two-man-one-woman threesome you might enjoy. It’s from Three Women, Lisa Taddeo’s bestseller. It’s a yummy, erotic story, Sloanne, posted under “Quickies” (5 min). Also, you can read our Three Women book review.
